Hiroko Shibuya received her Vaganova training under Ritsuko Kamo in Tokyo, Japan, and pursued advanced training with renowned masters including Sulamith Messerer and Laura Alonso. After relocating to the United States in 1990, Hiroko joined the faculty at Contra Costa Ballet in 2012 to launch their adult beginner program. She is deeply dedicated to helping adult students explore the technique and discover their own joy in the art of ballet.
